What directions for future research did you observe? List at least three, noting the major questions that remain.
Based on one of your three directions for future research, post a mini-research proposal in which you outline research involving behavior-analytic teaching strategies in a classroom, higher education, or supervision setting that you might conduct. Include the following components:
Research Question.
Background and Significance. What is the current and historical position of your topic in the context of your field of study? Why is your research needed?
Research Design and Methods. What single-subject research design might you use to test your research question? Briefly describe your procedures, including your proposed population and sample, how you will recruit participants, any observer or instructor training that may be necessary, application of the independent variable, and data-collection systems.
Ethics. How will you uphold ethical standards in informed consent, your design, and procedural methods?
Support your proposal with appropriate references to the literature.
